About Walshbots, Inc. and this policy

Walshbots, Inc. is the registered brand and operator of Scout CI/CD Alerts, an operational messaging program for the Scout service. This policy explains how the program handles information for pipeline failure alerts sent to the pipeline operator’s own mobile number.

Information and use

The program uses the mobile number configured by the operator, SMS consent and opt-out status, and message delivery information. Alert messages may include the pipeline or workflow name and a brief failure summary. This information is used to send and troubleshoot the requested alerts, honor HELP and STOP requests, maintain service security, and meet legal or carrier requirements.

Messages are recurring and automated, with frequency varying according to pipeline failures and related alert events. Message and data rates may apply.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They are used only to provide this alert program.

To deliver messages, the mobile number and message content may be processed by Twilio and wireless carriers as service providers and transmission partners. They may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the security of the service. These disclosures do not authorize marketing use of the number or consent.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the alert program, preserve opt-out and consent records, and meet legal requirements. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect it, but no internet or messaging service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and help

Reply STOP to opt out of future messages. Reply HELP for help with this program. The operator can also remove or change the alert destination in the pipeline configuration. Opting out may prevent the operator from receiving pipeline failure text alerts.

Terms and updates

Read the Campaign Terms of Service for the program details. This policy may be updated as the program changes; the current version will be posted on this page.
